Repair
Personal drop-off instead of shipping
For companies in the region the shipping route disappears. You can bring the faulty assembly to us during our opening hours and collect it again. During an ongoing stoppage that saves a full transport day in each direction.
If dropping off is not practical, our normal process applies with free inbound and return shipping. In the case of an acute plant stoppage, calling is faster than filling in a form. We can then establish on the phone whether a drop-off, a send-in or an interim solution is the quickest route.
When the component is no longer available
A repair shop can only repair what still exists. On plants from the nineties and two thousands, that is often the real bottleneck: the assembly is discontinued, the manufacturer points to a successor system, and the successor fits neither mechanically nor into the control logic.
For this situation we have two routes that go beyond repair. The first is the procurement of discontinued components through remaining stock, the second-hand market and tested replacement units. The second is PCB replication, where we analyze the existing assembly and rebuild it to the same function when the original no longer exists anywhere.
That means the search does not end at the point where a pure repair provider has to pass. For companies with a long-lived machine park, that is precisely the difference between continued operation and replacement investment.
